They have few branches in cities in America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East, that offers for young women, men, and teen girls. The store was founded in Los Angeles, California in 1984 by Do Won Chang and his wife Jin Sook Chang. Their headquarters is in Panorama City, California. There are 480 locations. The products they sell are clothing and accessories. Stores around are called different, for example: Forever 21, XXI Forever, For Love21, Forever 21+, Love21, Forever 21 Girls and 21Men.
We started to walk around and seeing the clothes layouts they provided. They had plenty of tables and rackets, including shelves. There were also mannequins on each table. The shoppers would stop in front of tables and "pet" them. These clients respond differently to the "cues" of the store store layouts. They would walk right by the tables that had maybe a 6 foot tall mannequin with an outfit and how to style that outfit. They would walk by and with their hand wide open, they would "pet" the clothing, not intentionally but as a sign of boredom. The store does follow Underhill strategies. No one is struggling with any layouts because everyone could reach the clothing but there were some clothes hanged up pretty high. I think that is a failed toward the strategy because the customer wouldn't be able to reach it, if they were interested to buy them. The clients behavior is normal again, because they go in, turn to the right and start observing the style. In this experience, they were two women walking in checking out the styles and not giving them a chance. But they would chit chat while "shopping". There was a mom and two daughters at clear glass layout table and they were picking up the shirts that were spread out . One of the daughters, would touch and grab the shirt around, then putting it against her skin. But never tries it on. There was Decompression zone. was also on the right, and the table had mannequins wearing leggings.
